Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan- Elementary School Grants

Interested in outside funding for a fencing program??

A word from BCBSM:

“This year, we are offering a comprehensive toolbox of elements proven to help elementary students achieve better nutrition and increased activity. To encourage toolbox use by Michigan elementary schools, we are offering Building Healthy Communities: Engaging Elementary Schools and Community Partners grants.”

These dollars can be used for physical education programs, maybe even a after-school Fencing program.

Thank you emPower Magazine and Quentin G. Love for coming out to visit our program. Below is a short quote from article:

“I contemplate the powerful impact of this program and others like it if it’s adopted on a wider basis throughout a city that many feel is quickly deflating and doomed like the cold rain pattering away outside that grey, cloudy day.”
